HTE has set an ambitious task: to develop a karaoke itcrophone design that fascinates with its aesthetics and built-in technical innovations. Equipped with a 360-degree contrapture speaker and capable of singing continuously for hours, Spoymic sought to set new standards in the industry.
As a companion to a cloud-based online karaoke music app, Spoymic was faced with the need to not only meet outstanding aesthetic expectations, but also to spark curiosity with a design that deviated from conventional and traditional microphone styles. It was supposed to show what a premium karaoke microphone is, worthy of true music connoisseurs.
Process
Development of several design concepts to determine the right direction.
We print and test layouts. Choosing a concept that is less like a microphone.
We determine the mood and image of the product using a mood board.
Working out the details of the design
We develop the design of the lower part of the microphone and the docking station.
Close the fabric insert with perforated metal with a pattern to protect against rapid wear and dirt.
We develop several perforation options with the possibility of customization by the user.
The lower part can be replaced with another one, with a personalized logo or pattern.
We produce layouts, test textures and surface patterns.
We finalize 3D models based on the analysis of layouts and the wishes of the client.
Preparing color maps.
We produce a scale-dimensional aesthetic model
