INGREMO is a modular hydroponic system designed to seamlessly integrate fresh food cultivation into modern life. Despite the rapid growth in the popularity of home crop production, most existing solutions are distinguished by a sterile design with an abundance of plastic, reminiscent of the equipment of clinical laboratories. They violate the aesthetics of the interior, take up too much space and are difficult to maintain.
INGREMO combines agricultural technology with premium furniture design. The system, designed for both residential interiors and commercial spaces of the HoReCa segment (restaurants, hotels, offices), eliminates visual noise in the room.
Replacing cold plastic with warm textures of natural wood, INGREMO is a ready-to-develop industrial design project. The structural basis of the system has already been worked out and tested on a physical prototype. Currently, the project is available for transfer of intellectual property rights or full transfer of the design to manufacturers who are ready to complete engineering refinement and start mass production.
In addition to growing plants, this functional structure acts as a shelving system, allowing users to combine interior elements with compositions of live plants. This ensures the most efficientuse of space in compact rooms.
The CMF strategy provides flexible customization options for premium interiors. The frame is made of steel with an aesthetic Noir powder coating, creating a clear structural contrast with the body elements made of tinted or painted pine.
For maximum growing efficiency, pots with plants are arranged according to a carefully calculated checkerboard scheme. This geometry ensures optimal distribution of light and space for growth, and inconspicuous temporary plugs maintain humidity during seed germination.
The liquid container and water supply system are hidden in a wooden box and work in a closed-loop automated system that only needs periodic maintenance, and a neat, removable top hatch allows you to quickly top up the nutrient solution without disturbing the plant composition.
Ordinary open LED panels often disturb the atmosphere of the interior. INGREMO solves this problem by embedding a phyto-lighting system directly into the metal supports of the structure. The light is directed exclusively inwards, on the foliage, stimulating effective plant growth and completely eliminating visual irritation to people in the room.
The basis of the INGREMO system is its “smart” modularity. The system is easily scalable – from a separate low rack to an interconnected “green” wall. Multiple modules connect to each other and connect to a power source via a single electrical cord, allowing you to maintain a neat, monolithic look without a mess of wires.
The variability of color schemes and conciseness of form allow you to organically fit into modern interior trends and turn the hydroponic installation into an architectural accent.
The built-in plant lighting system creates a bright visual accent, unobtrusively emphasizing plant compositions as an active element of the interior.
Automatic plant lighting in action: the system illuminates plants for up to1-6 hours a day, turning on automatically on a timer. The lighting does not hurt the eyes, but at the same time harmoniously complements the interior thanks to the soft atmospheric glow directed at the back wall.
An abundance of plants and a built-in phyto-lighting system in a minimalist design create a calm, biophilic atmosphere, turning the hydroponic rack into a soothing centerpiece.
