This project is a continuation of the work on the GLADIATOR 2026 collection of SUP boards, which began with the development of ELITE. In parallel, work is underway on the PRO series.
Origin boards are often used for rental, leisure, and light outdoor activities, so their visual appeal and durability are important. A bright color palette, a contrasting deck overlay and a distinctive pattern in the bow create an energetic and memorable image that resonates with the widest audience.
Origin introduces players to the world of Gladiator with a colorful, sunny, and fun design that remains practical and balanced.
TASK
To develop a bright, friendly design for the Gladiator Origin collection. The Origin range is aimed at beginners and lovers of calm water sports, so the boards should be enjoyable, high-quality and easy to understand.
Graphics should include a more saturated deck color, a contrasting overlay, a deck-colored rail with subtle accents, and an exclusive line-based pattern on the bow. Visual elements may resemble the triangular motif used in Elite, but in a lighter and more playful form.
Use the Gladiator logo, G symbol, nose pattern, flap cover text, weight nets and seat mounts. It is necessary to maintain an overall positive, simple and attractive appearance.

PROCESS
STAGE 1. CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Development of several concepts, work on general design, details, color schemes and graphics.
This is a rare case when a project develops not according to a standard scheme. In this case, we stick to the agreed project and then return to new proposals until all parties are satisfied and convinced of the correctness of the project. Below are the results of the work in three iterations.
As a result, we found a direction that everyone liked, and then we are working on its development, experimenting with shape and color.
GLADIATOR chooses the second option, and we move on to the next stage of the project.
We develop color combinations of boards and choose colors for the entire collection.
We develop several options for the design of the sides of the boards, keeping them simple, but at the same time distinguishing the complexity and details.
Once we’re done with the boards, we design the accessories: a bag, fins, a leash, a pump and a paddle.
RELEASED COLLECTION
Some time after the completion of the project, Gladiator revised the previously approved design of some accessories and removed the turquoise color from the 10.8 boards.
