A compact generator designed for mobile ground robotics (5-30 kg), such as small autonomous mobile systems.
The device is ideal for powering low-power electronics or charging gadgets such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops while working outdoors. It uses an innovative technology to convert gas into electricity. The system includes a small internal starter cartridge, and the main power source is a standard 5-liter external camping gas cylinder, widely used in the field.
TASK
To develop several concepts of the Topaz gas generator designed for mobile ground robotics and autonomous outdoor use. The internal layout is unchanged: in the upper section there is an electrochemical generator, and in the lower section there is an accumulator, pump and control unit.
Each concept must include different approaches to form, fuel integration (remote tank or 220g canister), air intake, exhaust gas safety and optional modular expansion via charging ports. The visual language must remain minimalistic and high-tech, adaptable to both technical equipment and consumer-friendly outdoor scenarios.
CONCEPT DESIGN
We develop and offer conceptual design proposals for various possible models of “Topaz” generators
