On April 16, Rodion Usaev spoke at the VI Russian Forum of Design Industry with a presentation on the Double Diamond method and its application in industrial design.
The essence of the method is four consecutive phases: market and user research (Discover), task formulation (Define), idea generation and prototyping (Develop), refinement and preparation for production (Deliver).
Using the examples of USAEV projects, it was shown how this structured approach works in reality: from the first interview with the customer to the transfer of files for engineering and design development and author’s support.
The session will be moderated by Yulia Vasilenko (MMOMA). Ksenia Lapkovskaya (Creative Industries Agency), Mikhail Grushin (RSV 3D) and Dmitry Yashin (TITABIT, Easyteka, ARZAMAS festival) also spoke at the panel.
